Karen Wee, a life long poet, is author of Book of Hearts and co-founder of the writing group Penchant, aka Northfield Women Poets. She is retired after 22 years as St. Olaf’s first art department administrative assistant.
David retired in 2005 after 40 years as an English professor at St. Olaf College, where he taught Victorian Literature, Expository Writing, Creative Writing, and Baseball and American Culture. He and Karen are devoted to the cause of civil justice and ecclesiastical inclusion for the GLBT community. David served 12 years on the Holden Board, and in 1993 he and Karen served as the Holden Summer Program Coordinators.
