Weber, Erwin

Professor Weber taught German at the University of Detroit, a Jesuit College, and later at Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois. He is the author of several books including "From Luther to 1580", which deals with the reformation period of the 16th century and the life of Martin Luther and problems of the early Lutheran church and the search for unity which culminated in the Book of Concord in 1580. He was an accomplished artist with many published works.
Professor Emeritus Weber passed away July 15, 2013 at the age of 92.
