Strommen, Normajean

Normajean is a grief support counselor and educator. After graduating from Augsburg College, she taught in public schools for several years. Her husband, Peter, a Lutheran pastor and former Bishop, served two South Dakota parishes for many years. When he was called to First Lutheran in Duluth, she pursued an MEd in Grief Counseling and Education at UMD. Since then, she's worked with businesses and volunteer organizations assisting them with grief counseling and the training of volunteers. Normajean also became certified internationally as a Spiritual Director.
