I am an artist and a teacher. I live in Muscat, Oman and teach at the American International School of Muscat where we have over 40 different nationalities represented in our student body. Living in the Middle East, experiencing and responding to the culture, has broadened my ideas on both female identity and the arts. I have a Masters of Fine Arts from Vermont College with a focus in female identity. Currently I am exploring the connections between fine arts and various traditionally female crafts, known as “Craftism”.
