Andrew Richter is an Associate Professor of Physics at Valparaiso
University. He is an alum of VU (’90) and he moved back to Valparaiso
in 2005 with his wife Jennifer Prough (also a VU professor) and son
Emmett, who seems destined to be either a professor, or perhaps anything
but. Andrew studies “bio-nano” materials, by using large national
and international facilities. He primarily teaches introductory physics
to non-physics majors and upper-level laboratory courses.
