Melinda started serving as Holden Village pastor in the fall 2018 and was installed in 2019. She received her B.A. in Spanish and Theology from Valparaiso University in Indiana and her Master of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology at
Chicago. She has worked in churches in Central and South America and served 11 years at a parish in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
