Julia Pachoud Bennett earned her BA in theater from the University of Kentucky. She graduated with an MFA in theater and a PhD in performance studies from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.
Julia has directed, acted in, designed or produced more than 100 productions, many of them for young audiences. She spent many years teaching on the Theatre Department faculty at Augustana College and producing independent theatre in Sioux Falls, S.D.
