Kent joined Holden Village as village pastor in 2014. His first call as a pastor was in the Black Hills of South Dakota where he served for 8 years. Kent comes to the village familiar with the year-round rhythms of village life, having served at Holden as a long-term lead cook for one year, beginning in August of 2001. He graduated from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in 2006 and is passionate about music (from Bach to bluegrass and everything in between!), art, reading and running.
