Pastor Jan Nairn is a wife/mother/grandmother, and serious dog-lover. She has been a high school teacher, actor and theater critic, and is proud of her heritage as the daughter of a southern evangelist and direct descendant of several Appalachian frontier preachers. A graduate of Massey University (New Zealand) and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN; she has served two parishes in southern California.
Robert Nairn was born in Glasgow, Scotland, where he was miscast at birth as a Chartered Accountant (all males in his family for four generations are accountants). After emigrating to New Zealand in his mid-thirties, he took up professional acting on stage and in film, and met his spouse, Jan. A member of Actor’s Equity, he continues working on stage and has performed in seven productions in the last few years with Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival at California Lutheran University. He has also performed regularly in “Christmas Carol” and with youth in the Nutcracker Ballet.
