Mullin, Michael

Michael is a professor of history at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He received his B.A., M.A., and PhD, at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Trained as a colonial historian, Michael has moved into studies of American expansion in the late 19th century with research in the role of the Grand Army of the Republic in South Dakota politics, particularly in the debate over America's annexation of Hawaii.
