Denny was one of 43 volunteers at Holden Village in 1962. This year (2012) is the first time back in 50 years. Denny has a degree in General Science from Pacific Lutheran University and a B.S. in Science Education and Communications from Oregon State University. In his time away from the Village, Denny held multiple positions in public affairs, consulting, and higher education. He was a member of the faculty in the Department of Public Information at Oregon State University, a Senior Caucus Assistant in the Oregon Legislative Assembly, and worked in Communications for senators and governors in both Nebraska and Oregon. He is the owner of Miles & Associates, a Public Affairs, Consulting, Fundraising, Nonprofit Management firm.
