Connie has been a forester and forest entomologist since the late 1990s. She feels blessed that her work allows her to visit so many of our public lands in the Pacific Northwest, and to help land managers answer questions about forest insects and diseases. She has visited Holden many times over the last 15 years, surveying western spruce budworms and putting out repellents to prevent bark beetle attacks. Connie’s favorite visit to Holden was Christmas of 2010, when she was able to sing in the choir on Christmas morning.
