Martin, Linda

Linda received her bachelor of arts in vocal music education from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls and her master of arts in Music Education with a choral emphasis from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
She is a lifetime music educator, currently teaching at Luther College. She conducts Cantorei (a women's choral ensemble), teaches voice, ear training, and music education. She also is artistic/executive director of the Oneota Valley Youth Choirs in Decorah.
In 2006 she was chosen to conduct the All-Iowa Jr. High girls OPUS honor choir in Ames, Iowa.
Her family lived at Holden 1983-1985. She joined the 2011 summer teaching staff as village musician for a week in July.
