Chuck and Karen are both retired teachers and have been keeping bees for over 40 years. They keep bees for honey production and pollination and at one time had 150 hives. They have had a long-standing love for their hobby and are both committed to keeping the honey bee healthy and viable. They continue to teach beekeeping through evening school classes, one day seminars, and talks to schools and clubs. Karen writes for the American Bee Journal.
