Marvin received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 18th Century British Literature. He is a professor of English at Montana State University-Bozeman. He is the author of several publications including: The Wisdom of Many, the Vision of One: The Proverbs of William Blake. Peter Lang, 1994.
He focuses on eighteenth-century British literature and the poetry and designs of William Blake.
