Born and raised in the foothills East of Seattle, I am a lover of mountain trails, open snowfields and babbling brooks!
I have served as pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in The Dalles, Oregon since 2007. Prior careers in non-profit management and youth ministry compel my ongoing curiosity about the mission and shape of the church.
I studied English Literature, German Literature, and dabbled deeply in Music and European History at the University of Puget Sound as an undergraduate, forming a lifelong interest in languages, history and fine arts that takes shape today in a strong presence of music, linguistics and history in my Bible Studies. I am an alum of Luther Seminary.
