Buzz's teaching ministry has been focused on the Jewish Roots of the Bible and of the Christian faith. Of Jewish parents and ancestry, Buzz came to faith in The Messiah when experiencing his first Lord's Supper Communion on Maundy Thursday 1956, at 28 years of age. Instructed and Baptized at Bethel Lutheran Church in Encino, California July of that year. Soon thereafter teaching Sunday School and Confirmation at Bethel. First call to ministry as Youth Director at Emmanuel in North Hollywood 1961-7, and certified as a Church Staff Worker…later Associate in Ministry. Outdoor Ministry Director in Western Washington 1967-72, Youth Director at First of Richmond Beach (Seattle) 72-5, Director of Outreach & Fellowship Ministries at Cross of Christ in Bellevue, WA 1975-93. Buzz traveled and taught in congregations from 1993-2005, and is currently teaching at Zion in Redmond, Oregon, and recently (2008) organized and directed the Zion Institute for Biblical Studies.
