Laurie is an assistant professor of Theology and Ethics at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. She primarily teaches courses in Christian ethics, Christian contemporary theology, and introductory religion. She received her Ph.D. from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California and before that served a small three-point parish in western South Dakota for three years.
