Johnson, April

April serves as Associate Chaplain of Augustana College in the Campus Ministries Department. She came to Augustana in 2002 after a 16 year career in global telecommunications sales and networking. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a Masters of Divinity from Howard University; in Washington D.C. While in D.C., April served as assistant to the editor of the Journal of Religious Thought and as youth minister at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Capitol Heights, Maryland. She is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and a native of Chicago.
