Bob graduated from the University of Minnesota, attended Yale Divinity School and graduated from the Northwestern Theological Seminary in Minneapolis. He served parishes in Pittsburg, Pa., Chicago, suburban Minneapolis, Tucson and Palo Alto. He was best known for his work in the civil-rights struggle and his dedication to opposing the wars in Vietnam and Iraq.
Bob authored several books, including, "Funny, You Don't Look Christian," "Promise Beyond the Pain," and "The Road Home, Courage and Faith for the Final Journey".
Bob died April, 2006.
