Paul D. Hanson received his Bachelor of Arts from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1961, his Bachelor of Divinity from Yale University in 1965, and his Ph.D. from Harvard. He spent his career teaching at Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is an expert on Biblical hermeneutics and has written numerous books on theological interpretations.
