Drew graduated from Yale Law School and from Harvard University, summa cum laude. Before law school, he studied theology at Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
Hansen is the author of The Dream: Martin Luther King and the Speech That Inspired a Nation. He is a member of the Washington State House of Representatives, where he has served since 2011.
