Halvor, Susan

Susan received her BA in Communications and Global Studies from Pacific Lutheran University and her M.Div from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. She served over 3 years as a parish pastor and now serves as the manager of the Spiritual Care Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a queer Lutheran chaplain/pastor, she has a passion for ministry on the margins and caring for people who “don’t fit” or feel unheard. She serves as chaplain for the Proclaim Community (professional community for Lutheran pastors who publicly identify as LGBTQ+).
