Cynthia is a lifelong poet. She is a social worker and pastoral counselor. She uses poetry in her therapy as a means of helping us think about things.
She attended Gustavus Adolphus College, Boston University, Louisiana State University, United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, and Oklahoma State University. She taught at both the Northeastern State University and Louisiana State University graduate schools.
