Flaten, James

James lives in Minnesota but grew up on the mission field in West Africa. He received his B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Carleton College and his Ph.D in Physics from the University of Minnesota. He is Associate Director of NASA’s Minnesota Space Grant Consortium, promoting interest in aerospace, though his academic background is physics.
