Originally from Wisconsin, served as a Lieutenant in the Marines and in Vietnam from 1968-69. He has a degree from Miami University in Ohio, an MDiv from Luther Seminary and was ordained into the ELCIC in 1976. Randy volunteered at Holden in 1980 with his wife Betsy. He currently serves at St John's Lutheran Church.
