Rudy and Doris Edmund first came to Holden Village in 1962. They became active in the the life of the village. Rudy was a retired Professor in Geology at California Lutheran College, now University, Thousand Oaks, California. He was curator of the Portal Museum until 1990. Doris was a teacher and started the Narnia program for children in the village.
