Damien, John Buffalo Robe

John (Jack) Buffalo Robe Damien was a pastor on the Spirit Lake Sioux Indian Reservation in North Dakota. He is a graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary (ELCA) in Ohio. He served in North Dakota for 14 years as a minister, interim pastor, and youth pastor; and in New England as an interim pastor. He also was a missionary-teacher in the Philippines at the Luzon Bible College, office manager of the ecumenical Christian Help Center (homeless shelter) in Vallejo, California, and a reporter and photographer whose human interest stories were distributed world-wide by the Associated Press.
