Elizabeth served as Village Musician in 2011. She graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Elizabeth spent time working in music ministry for Pacific Lutheran University and congregations in Tacoma, Washington, Grand Forks, North Dakota and in Minneapolis. She studied at Luther Seminary and was called by Holden Village to be associate pastor in 2013.
