A love of science led Nancy to medical school and practicing medicine as an internist and an emergency medicine physician the first part of her life. After 20 years of medical practice, unexpected stirrings led to seminary. Ordination and pasturing several churches followed. She is now privileged to be a retreat leader and spiritual director and is grateful for the time each year at a Benedictine monastery where she is an oblate.
