Bowman, Jan and Karen Herseth Wee

Karen Wee, a life long poet, is author of Book of Hearts and co-founder of the writing group Penchant, aka Northfield Women Poets. She is retired after 22 years as St. Olaf’s first art department administrative assistant.
Jan is an alum of Augustana College, Rock Island, and has worked at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks with her husband, Gerry, since 1969. Jan has published Carved Like Runes, a collection of poems drawing on a decade of loss and spiritual transformation. Several of these poems were written at Holden. (Bio from summer 2005)
