Bardwell, Sam

I hail from Northern Wisconsin where the arts of woodworking, gardening and spirited debate were deeply engrained in me. Now I live in Minneapolis, MN where I work/play/serve as a theater maker seeking to incorporate my singular list of marketable skills into a life-giving vocation. As an actor, I have played leading roles at Tony-award-winning theaters including The Guthrie and Children's Theatre Company. Other Minneapolis acting credits include Charlie in the Ivey (the Twin Cities equivalent to the Tony)-award-winning production of "Mary's Wedding" at The Jungle Theater, plus many more roles locally and regionally. At the Guthrie and Ten Thousand Things Theater (a company that brings professional theater to prisons, halfway houses and homless shelters) I have assistant directed Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" and "As You Like It".
