Nancy Winder first came to Holden in 1971 on Volunteer Staff. She was ordained in The American Lutheran Church in 1976, and served as Holden Village Pastor from 1976-1978. After serving three interims in the Seattle area from 1978-1980, she was called as pastor at Faith Lutheran Church in Seattle in January 1981 and she’s been there ever since! In 2004, Nancy led a group of 17 students and adults from her congregation and three neighboring congregations to Tanzania. They worked with the Ailanga Lutheran Junior Seminary in Usa River. Getting people connected in the larger church and world is important to Nancy.
