David Wee retired in 2005 after 40 years as an English professor at St. Olaf College, where he taught Victorian Literature, Expository Writing, Creative Writing, and Baseball and American Culture. He and his wife Karen are devoted to the cause of civil justice and ecclesiastical inclusion for the GLBT community. David served 12 years on the Holden Board, and in 1993 he and Karen served as the Holden Summer Program Coordinators.
