Marta lived in the village and went to Holden School. She has been entertaining the village with her singing, violin and acting. She graduated from Macalaster College, St. Paul, Minnesota. Marta and her dad, Rolf, have been playing together for many years. Rolf is a musician, composer and music teacher. He plays guitar, piano and concertina. Rolf has been on Holden Village staff in various capacities: Lead Cook, Village Musician, and Registrar.
