Schroeer, Will

Will runs the Transportation and Land Use practice at ICF Consulting, where a main client is the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Smart Growth office. Before consulting, he was in the EPA’s Policy Office for seven years. While at EPA, he received a 1996 National Planning Award from the American Planning Association for work with Portland, Oregon. Many of the discussion examples in his sessions draw on his experience working with communities on how to grow in a way that strengthens the community rather than weakening it. Will now lives in Minneapolis.
