Karl received BA, Magna Cum Laude, Muhlenberg College. M.Div., Lutheran Theological Seminary, and an M.A. in Alcohol Studies from Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley CA, and also the Certificate in Family Therapy. He also served Southeastern PA Synod as Director of Drug and Alcohol Services and provided training for clergy intervention in addition to providing a phone hotline for concerned congregations. He was also a German Visitation pastor.
He passed away February, 2012.
