Margie hails from Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Women's Studies and French. She served for a year with UCC in Seattle and most recently worked at Facing Homelessness, a non-profit organization in Seattle that uses visual storytelling to raise awareness about homelessness. Margie will attend Duke Divinity School in the fall of 2016 where she hopes to get her Masters of Divinity along with a Certificate of Gender, Sexuality and Theology.
