Tom was founding president of Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, MA and former president of Bellevue Community College, Bellevue, Washington.
Annie is Tom's wife. She is a professional actress and director. As a freelance writer, she has written art reviews and feature articles for The Seattle Times, The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, The Berkshire Eagle, The Caracas Journal, National Public Radio and the CBC.
