Charlie was pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Angeles, WA, and served on the ELCA Church Council. Many books have influenced him, but Charlie would name three: Life Together by D. Bonhoeffer, Jesus Means Freedom by E. Kasemann, The Return of the Prodigal Son by H. Nouwen. Charlie enjoyed “Babbett’s Feast.” Charlie loves his wife, children, grandchildren, many friends, and the people of Tanzania.
