Maricela, nacida y crecida en México, estudió administración y después de cumplir sus estudios vino a Los Estados Unidos a San José California. En San José conoció a su esposo de 16 años, Joseph. Ellos tienen dos hijas bellas, Mirian de 15 años y Noemi de 13.
Ella trabaja con niños autísticos en La Oficina Provincial de Educación y ayuda en el ministerio de Pueblo de Dios con su esposo y sus hijas.
Uno de los libros mejores que ha leído es The Far Land of My Father. A ella le gusta tejer y leer.
Cree que cada persona es una luz que brilla y que cada persona tiene algo que ofrecer a este mundo. A ella le encanta trabajar con niños minusválidos porque Dios le ha dado el amor por este trabajo. Trabaja en la comunidad para hacer una diferencia en las vidas de otras.
Sus hijas son una parte importante de su vida y disfrutan el viaje a Holden para refrescar y dar a otras. Trabajando con su esposo en equipo ha sido importante para tener éxito en el ministerio que Dios les ha dado.
Maricela was born and raised in Mexico. She studied Administration and came to the USA after completing her program. She met her husband of 16 years, Joseph Leon. They live in San Jose, CA with their two beautiful daughters, Mirian, age 15, and Noami, age 13.
Maricela works full time with autistic kids for the County Office of Education. She also helps in the ministry of Pueblo de Dios with her husband and kids.
One of the best books she has ever read was The Far Land of My Father. She enjoys knitting and reading.
She believes that every one of us is a shining light and we all have something good to offer to this world. She loves working with disabled kids because God has given her the love for them. She is working in the community to make a difference in other’s lives.
Her daughters are an important part of her life and they enjoy this trip to Holden to refresh and also to give to others. Working as a team with her husband has been a key to being able to succeed in the ministry that God has placed in their hands.
