(Linda Powell Jensen)
Linda first arrived in Holden as a child in August of 1951. The next four years were the happiest of her childhood and she considers Holden to be the town where she grew up. After graduation from Washington State University in accounting, Linda spent 34 years in a business career with GTE. However, as she neared retirement, she set a goal to come to Holden Village and work in the museum.
This “Special Treasure” of a place has a long colorful history that current Villagers should learn about. Her goal is to help people understand the activities and folks who are part of the 100 plus years of history in this beautiful valley.
