Ivask, Ivar

Ivar was an Estonian poet and Professor of Modern Languages and Literature at the University of Oklahoma where he edited the international literary quarterly World Literature Today and wrote mainly on Spanish literature. He is the author of a number of books of poetry in Estonian and German.
He was married to the Latvian poet Astrid Ivask.
