Mary Schramm has been active in peace and social justice ministries most of her adult life. She and her husband John have started several faith communities reflecting these values. Mary spent six years at Holden and is the author of several books. She manages Jubilee, a fair trade store, and is a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Leavenworth WA. She is an avid basketball fan and proudly spends much time watching her grandchildren at tournaments.
