Cohan, Jeff

Jeff began playing flute at the age of 10 in Texas. He studied oceanography at the University of Washington in Seattle, but went on to study in Paris and received his Masters of Music Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is the winner of many prestigious competitions. He has been on the faculty at Indiana University, University of Northern Iowa, Augustana College and Grinnell
College.
In 2011 he was the Artistic Director of the Capitol Hill Chamber Music Festival in Washington D.C.; the Cascade Early Music Festival in Leavenworth, Washington; and the Black Hawk Chamber Music Festival (Illinois/Iowa).
Jeff performed a flute concert in the Village in 1973.
