Graber, Samuel

Sam Graber teaches at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana, where he’s currently a Lilly Fellow in Christ College. He’s lucky enough to teach courses with titles like “Word & Image” and “American Identities: Contesting Voices,” along with some standard literature courses. A graduate of Yale Divinity School, Sam received his Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Iowa in 2008, where he taught English and American Studies to undergraduates for seven years. In the fall of 2006, he helped organize and lead the Living the Leap program at Holden and in 2009 led a two week series of discussions on the divine and worldly words of some great American literature. He loves playing basketball and being walked by his dog.
