Lynn is on the faculty at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California. She teaches courses in ministry, and directs the Field Education Program and the Doctor of Ministry Program. Lynn is also a United Methodist clergy and served as campus minister before teaching in the seminary. Her research and writing have focused on church leadership, feminist theories of ministry, community development and the meaning of vocation in the lives of all Christians. Most recently, she is working with two groups that address work issues. One is an organization that is helping Latina women form ecologically safe housecleaning collectives and the other is an interfaith worker justice organization. Lynn loves to travel and has been fortunate to spend time in China and Indonesia with religious groups that are struggling to create more just and sustainable societies. She co-authored Mending Severed Connections: Theological Education for Communal Transformation and wrote Co-Creating: A Feminist Vision of Ministry.
