Nash, Peter

Peter is the first African-American doctoral graduate of the Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago, where he earned a degree in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. He has taught at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary, Evanston, Illinois, served as visiting professor at the Lutheran School of Theology, Chicago, and has held visiting professorships in Germany and in Mozambique. Nash also has held various lectureships, workshops and seminars in Europe, the Middle East and the United States and has published numerous articles and a book entitled, Negras Historias no Rio Grande do Sul.
